1- Africa has a population total of about 1.5 billion 2- By count, Over 3,000 languages spoken natively in Africa e.g Swahili, Yoruba, Hausa, Arabic, Igbo, Somali, Berber e.t.c 3- Africa is home of over 50 independent Countries representing more than 25% of the countries of the World. 4- Nigeria is the most populous Africa Country with a population estimate of over 180 millions people. Next is Ethopia and Egypt with 90 millions and 87 millions respectively. 5- Nigeria alone has over 500 languages( One of the greatest concentrations of linguistic diversity in the world). 6- Cameroon has a population of about 22 Millions almost the same with Lagos City(Nigeria) with over 21 millions inhabitants. 7- The following Countries are the least populated in Africa= Saint Helena, Ascension and Tristan da Cunha (about 7,000), Seychelles (97,000), Sow Tome and Principe (194,000).
